My name is Heather, and I operate One Sun Designs with my niece, Hannah. When I needed an assistant for my busy photography studio, I hired Hannah, then just 13 years old, to do various tasks for me. It didn’t take long for me to realize that Hannah’s skills went far beyond album assembly and packaging orders, and I began teaching her how to work with images and use editing and design programs. By the age of 15, Hannah was proofing sessions and creating collages and storybooks for clients.
I have always loved creating unique templates for my photography clients, and in 2008 Hannah and I decided to focus a bit more on this passion by starting One Sun Designs. Hannah is in college now, studying interior design, and I’m so glad she’s able to continue working for me from school!
